It’s always amazing how a little design know-how can turn even a fairly inexpensive material like subway tile into a stunning design feature. In this historic Portland, Oregon, home, white subway tile with dark grout creates a graphic element, especially used in such a generous dose and to wrap the bathtub.
Brooklyn-based Lisa Kanning of design firm LKID framed the beautiful views in the dining room of this Big Sky, Montana, vacation home with simple, natural accents, choosing Hartmann & Forbes woven window shades and ombre drapery by Rosemary Hallgarten to add a layer of luxury without distraction.
