Frameless cabinets allow for additional storage with wider drawers and pullouts because they do not have a face frame attached to the front of the cabinet box and no center stile coming down in the middle of two cabinet doors. Frameless cabinets give a sleek, simple aesthetic that provide easier access to the items inside.
This home has a theme of accessibility, optimism and openness. As a family gathering place, the kitchen needed to be a centerpiece, filled with light, and provide a connection to adjacent outdoor terraces, patios and the pool. The floor-to-ceiling bay windows in the breakfast room help fulfill this requirement.
Smaller spaces are being opened up to incorporate broader entertainment functions. Often we are removing walls between kitchen and dining rooms and including an open island or peninsula to connect the two. This enables us to expand the size and functionality of kitchen and dining areas and allows these spaces to serve several purposes.
